Benefits include:

  • Robust frame that keeps the child’s centre of gravity close to the floor for safety.
  • Supportive padding for trunk control.
  • Easily adjusted supports.
  • Knee supports are adjustable in height, width, depth and lateral tilt.
  • 3-way adjustable tray in height, angle and depth.

Comes complete with: tray, knee supports, foot positioners.

Pelvic and Trunk Supports
Knee Pads
Heel Rests

All three sizes have separate chest and pelvic supports. This is beneficial, as the chest support can then be removed once the child has progressed.

Testimonials
Pietro's Story
Emma's Story

Pietro is an eleven-year-old boy who has been afflicted with infantile cerebral palsy resulting in quadriplegia since birth. At his home in Valfabbrica, in the province of Perugia, Italy, is a whirlwind of energy.

Both in indoor and outdoor spaces, the Dandy Stander proved to be of fundamental importance for enhancing Pietro’s motor, postural and relational skills.

The Dandy Stander allows him to do loading exercises on legs while doing a thousand activities (listening to music, watching TV, doing chores), so the standing is not a monotonous thing to suffer passively but a way to do interesting things while keeping a proper posture.

Emma is a clever four year old who has Spina Bifida. She has always been nervous of standing frames… until we tried the Dandy Standing frame! She loves this frame because it’s fun-looking, colourful, and feels safe!

Because she has good upper body strength, the chest support was removed for unrestricted activities and learning.

Her mother and physiotherapist love how adjustable the Dandy is, and how it doesn’t look ‘medicalised’.
