The Dynamic Gait Trainer stimulates the child to walk

If the child just sits down on the saddle, it stops the walker due to the brake system.

This is a feature that can also either be turned off, or set to a level of weight-bearing desired.

The child actively takes support on their own feet and develops weight bearing through their hip joints.

The unique swivelling saddle follows the movement of the user’s hip and the legs. 

The height and angle of the DGT’s body supports are adjustable while the child is standing in the walking aid enabling the optimum position to be obtained whilst viewing the child in the walker.

As the child’s walking ability progresses, the chest support can be removed altogether.

Adjustable weight shift braking system

The adjustable weight shift braking system has a sprung action at the rear wheels that can be applied to a desired level of friction so that the  child has to weight bear in order to release the brake to take a step.

This unique feature allows Therapists and Carers to set this control to a level that encourages further development.

Seat height adjustment

This outstanding feature  means the seat height can be wound up to suit the optimum walking position while the child is in the frame, and lowered to get the child out.
