Key to the Delta range is the incorporation of the remarkable Reflexion™ foam on all patient contact surface areas combined with the option of different pressure relieving seat modules depending on individual user’s pressure management requirements.

From the highly advanced Intelli-Gel® seat module for those at very high risk of developing pressure problems through to the Transflo Gel cushion and Reflexion™ foam seat modules for those at medium to high risk. Indeed the flexibility of the Delta range enables users to either integrate their own pressure relieving seat cushion into the seat module of the chair or apply a flat seat board upon which it can be effectively used.

Contributing further comfort and support the Delta range now has the option of either the Advanced Comfort Backrest incorporating the highly acclaimed Reflexion™ foam or an entire Reflexion™ foam backrest that moulds itself to the contours of the user to help disperse body weight more evenly over a greater surface area.

Furthermore, the Delta has the ability to easily adjust the tilt-in-space positioning to facilitate ultimate pressure management without overexertion by the carer or indeed the user. With the option of either gas action or electrically powered adjustments positioning is effortless, whilst with Regulated Motion the tilt-in-space movement continuously changes.

Delta with Electric Adjustment

Enabling carer or user, where appropriate, to adjust the tilt-in-space facility and/or the elevating legrest by the simple touch of a button provides an electrically powered motion to both these mechanisms. Utilising an undemanding hand controller the Delta with Electric Adjustment reduces effort whilst increasing the positioning range and flexibility of use of the chair.

Delta with Gas Action Adjustment

The Delta with Gas Action Adjustment enables fluid and precise movement of the tilt-in-space facility by the release of a lever situated on the push handle. The tilt-in-space gently moves back and forth as directed by the carer with minimal effort whilst the legrest can be elevated by a separate release mechanism at the front of the chair.
The legrest gently raises or lowers accordingly in a smooth arcing motion without affecting the positioning of the footboard.
